Executive

President

Justina LeeStolz

Four years into a lifelong journey with JCI, Justina is excited to be leading the unit in 2023! Justina is an Okanagan-local, home-owner and investor. Nine years as a REALTOR® results in succinct systems, knowledge, and strong negotiating skills, allowing her to understand her clients’ needs and execute to get them the best deals. From real estate, to her Tour The Town project, to her curation of the 100AwesomePeople project/podcast, cultivating rich, value-laden relationships with her clients, community and business partners is her passion. When she’s not knee-deep in real estate, she’s finding ways to engage with her community. Supporting local is a passion that is largely enabled through the vast JCI network and connections.

Past President

Drew Vincent

Drew is passionate about JCI as a 5+ year member, his focus is on community development and plans to continue that effort into 2022 with his role as JCI President.

He holds a masters degree from The University of Applied Sciences in Worms Germany where he did his thesis on Community spaces, their role in economic and social development as a cornerstone of the community and social wellbeing.

During his time with JCI, he started JCI Adult Summer Camp and the Active Citizen competition. He has held several positions on the executive as Training Director and Treasurer. He participated in the Effective speaking competition and traveled to World Congress in Quebec City. His focus for JCI is to ensure the membership receives tremendous value, both professionally and personally.

VP Membership

Grace Manders

Grace grew up in the Okanagan and after a brief reprieve where she completed her Bachelor of Commerce at UVic, she returned to the Okanagan to pursue her CPA designation. Being new to Kelowna, Grace was looking for opportunities to get involved and joined JCI in May 2017. JCI has allowed her to expand both her personal and professional networks and she is grateful for the connections she has made over the past five years. Grace served on the board in 2020 as secretary and is excited to return to the board as VP in 2023!

Treasurer

Coby Blystone

Coby joined the JCIs in 2020 to be a part of a group of like minded young professionals that give back to their community. After hearing stories about ‘the good old days’ and the beneficial projects JCI has completed in our community, Coby was immediately hooked. This is Coby’s first board position and is excited to focus on strengthening the membership and helping members grow.

Coby began his career early, starting a successful e-commerce business in high school. After completing his business degree at Okanagan College, Coby decided to pursue his Certified Financial Planner®️ designation in an effort to raise the bar in developing effective solutions for his clients. He currently works as a Financial Consultant with Bay & Associates of IG Private Wealth Management.

VP Communications

David Kemp

David began his journey in JCI in 2016, when he returned from school to set down roots in Kelowna. JCI Kelowna quickly became his home base and his community, and he hasn’t looked back. This is his 4th year serving on the executive, having previously held the positions of Director of External Events, Vice President, and Director of Social Events. This year, as Director of Communications, David looks forward to doing what he’s done from the start – screaming from the rooftop about how amazing JCI is and how everyone should join. David especially looks forward to introducing to JCI Kelowna the many young active citizens who have recently moved to Kelowna during the pandemic, so that they find a community here much like he did.

David is a real estate and business lawyer by trade. After finishing law school at the University of British Columbia in Vancouver in 2015, David was called to the bar in 2016 and proceeded to build a practice helping people in buying, selling, and developing real estate, and buying, operating, and selling businesses. David currently works as General Counsel for Monette Farms, one of Canada’s largest privately owned farming and ranching companies, with farm and ranch activities spread over 400,000+ acres of land in BC, Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, Arizona, and Montana.

VP Social

Danyelle Clark

Danyelle became a member of the JCI Kelowna Chapter in November of 2021. She was encouraged to join by a former colleague, who is a long standing Vernon Chapter member. After switching to remote work, she was in need of an environment where she could collaborate and connect with like-minded individuals, and the Kelowna Jaycees quickly became that place. After participating on the Adult Summer Camp committee, she knew she wanted to become more involved with the chapter.

Danyelle has been a young professional in Kelowna for the past 9 years, where she has held various roles within the Insurance Industry.  She hopes to continue building connections both personally, and professionally within the community, especially with her fellow Jaycees! She looks forward to facilitating strong memories, relationships, and a lot of fun.

VP Training

Breanna Snow

Breanna is brand new to the JCI scene, locking in her membership in October of this year. She resonated with the warm & friendly environment which JCI nurtures to be incredibly inclusive, so jumped in with both feet, to take on a new adventure for this year’s trainings. She’s passionate about self development and looking forward to throwing in some shenanigans along the way!

Breanna is a Registered Nurse prominently working in critical care areas for the majority of her 13yr career. More recently, she has taken an active role in Valeo Health Clinic owned by herself & her husband. As a business owner in our city, JCI and its ethos could not have aligned more fully with her vision when she considered stepping into community involvement. Changing strangers into friends and enriching our community along the way is a perfect fit.

Secretary

Adam Callahan

Adam joined the kelowna JCIs in August 2022 after a successful summer camp event, after which he attended one meeting before deciding to go to nationals a few weeks later. Adam has never been on a board before and he is interested in learning the inner workings of a good organization.

Adam was born and raised in kelowna and is in his second year at UBCO for Mechanical Engineering.
